Bidnisssss

Wow, have I been busy! ok well lets just say i have around 300 pics for you. Ya too many right!! Ok Well I will post the more important ones below. But first, things have been really hectic and although I promised you everyday it seems that is just not feasible. So I have been working hard on destroying the future location of the Art Camp. I mean reconstruction!!! Hehe!! We are taking a rotten drywall down and exposing the brick. Taking out some sinks and relocating the refrigerator. Then I am working on the upcoming show @ The South Pasadena Art & Jazz festival May 1. I have a lot of purses, cozies, and food jewelry that I'm working on. Not only am I doing pieces for that show but I am also applying them to my etsy account as well, too see if I can presell anything. Whew!! Is that it? Well no! I still teach Spanish and through that I've been working on my upcoming Summer Art Camp flyer! It's done, it looks good. I'm excited! ok. well. jees. Oh did I mention I took my on photos of my stuff for etsy!! Proud of that one. I always feel like I can't or my photos suck. So I borrowed a camera from the nieghbor RAyRAy and shot them all last night! ;) Ok here are some of my favorites!!

Hollywooood!! I'm in LA TRIIIICK!!!

Had to throw in my old band buddies song... get your hands up, put your hands up... LMFAO. So The girl, Auntie, and I took the metro yesterday to Hollywood and Highland. We had a blast! Couldn't believe it cost $10 to get there!!! But for Auntie it was only $3.60!! We ate at the Green Room, which was NOT good, ok well it was mediocre. Coincidentally it is located across the street from where LMFAO's first show was where they opened for me. (back when I was in a band) Anyway! We had so much fun!! On the train Auntie told me about her dreams of writing, and how she always wanted to be one. I mentioned the blog and maybe helping her start a memoir. We spoke of getting tattoos for her upcoming 64th birthday and the yard sale.

It was a great day for Jess too. Lots of Taylor Lautner pictures and posters. She was in heaven. Then we had this amazing Tiger Butter Apple. It was dipped in Caramel, then wrapped with Peanut Butter Chocolate, then a milke chocolate swirl with chunks of peanut butter cups!!! We split it but it was a bit too sweet for me. Auntie and Jess said they could both eat one to themselves! Yikes. Then we went to a boutique for baby clothes. I talked to them about a potential in consigning some things. The Right Bank Babies Shoppe. They were interested and we exchanged cards. Excited!!

Got home Dug in the garage, then a neighbor brought over some fresh collard greens. So I steamed those babies up and we had Baked beans and Collard greens for dinner.

Relaxed while working a cool sushi ring with California roll and shrimp. Still in search for the chopsticks.

Recieved a card from Uncle and Aunt for some curtains I did for them. They got a new trailer to camp in and needed custom curtains. I was happy to do them and they turned out terrific. They gave me a gift card to Macaroni grill! mmmm.

AA got Milo a pork bone cause he's such a good doggy and was so tired after trying to bury the thing wanted to bring it in the house. AA didn't let him but he looked so cute waiting at the door.

National Walk Day!

So the girl and I are taking a trip! Ya! We went to the corner Bakery and had some delishhh coffee and lemon bar. Now to meet Auntie @ the mission station and heading out to Hollywood. We will do some walking and talking and then of course our favorite thing to do... EAT!!!

Gave the AA a list of chores to get ready for the Yard sale hopefully something will be accomplished. Easy chores that have been sitting around now for, well a really long time!! I'm excited to see the world today! I will tell of our endeavors latter tonight!

On creative news:
Did a small purse and pretty happy with the results. Also, started a breast cancer awareness blanket. Talked to Rono (A lovely girl I get to play, talk, vent, and laugh with...who is also a neighbor) about potentially donating some beanies and blankets to cancer patients. Which is THE best thing to do! I love giving smiles to people that are most deserving.

Okay!! talk to you later!! xoxo

Frida Kahlo Baby Shoes 'Te Amo Mucho'

You can get yourself a pair here: Visit me @ www.bellababygifts.etsy.com

Not quite done yet. I need a trip to Joanns for the bottoms. These particular shoes are size 12-24 mths so I need a skid resistant bottom. Look forward to tomorrow and they will be done!

Tomorrow planning a special trip with the girl. We are thinking the metro and some coffee. hooray I get out of the house! And it's a good thing too. I cleaned the bedroom, sorted some things for sat, put the dishes my wonderful husband did away, walked the dog, and organized all my miniatures. WHEW! And talked to my mom for 2 hours!!! All in 1 day. Now some good food that my personal chef extraordinaire AA made... Chicken soup (as I was sick for Easter) mmmm.

Little Red Riding Hood

Spring Cleaning

Picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor...
Must keep thinking, must keep thinking.
So I'm preparing for a Yard sale this saturday! Yikes. So many materials being thrown out! I can't help but think, I know I'm going to regret this! I need to get organized. (doesn't every OCD patient think the same?) So that means clean up! What no creating? I know right! Well in the midst of it all, I still do. Made some sugar cookies. baked them off this morning. Not the ones that go straight to your thighs. The ones for my upcoming Art Show @ Zinnia. They will soon become little earrings and pendants. Now to start on my tiny little collection of craft junk. (sooo tiny! hehehe)

Why you ask? Well I'm having a yard sale to make room for the stuff in my shop. I am hoping to open Art classes and workshops this summer. But first I need to downsize. Wish me luck!!

P.s. I also have an order from my Bella line for some Frida Kahlo shoes. Those are due Thursday.

Here goes nothing

Well that was a lot easier than I thought! So I did it. I started a blog. Now lets see where it goes, shall we. Wait a minute, there is nobody there. It's just me, I mean you, whatever. Never mind.. So I must warn you I'm a bit pessimistic to say the least. All the mental hurdles of creating for me, is quite difficult. If I think of something, the chances of it coming to life, believe it or not, is not likely. Call it the lack of courage, call it low self esteem. Whatever you call it, please give me the pill to fix it!

So my guilt told me not to start this, it said there are rules!, when are you going to have time!, Loser! well not that harsh... I mean do I speak in the 3 person? what about walks with Milo> I'm never going to be able to talk to aunt dawn on the phone now. No time for dishes if I'm blogging? Oh, ya, I don't wash dishes... :)

Anyway, I am attempting to blog at every chance I get. I think this will give my cluttered brain and chance to finally breath.

So without further ado I will introduce to you the main characters in
